K-Tech Wellness Foundation Launches With a Successful Clean-Up Exercise at Awoshie Station
The K-Tech Wellness Foundation has officially announced its presence within the Ga Central Municipality with an impactful community clean-up exercise and durbar held at Awoshie Station. Founded by Mr. Ganiru Kere, a dedicated NADMO staff member at the Anyaa Zonal Office, the foundation is stepping forward with a strong commitment to promoting health, cleanliness, and community well-being.
The launch carried the inspiring theme:
"Let’s Come Together To Support Our Communities – Promoting Health, Cleanliness, and Support for the Vulnerable."
This theme reflects the foundation’s core mission: empowering communities, promoting environmental cleanliness, and supporting vulnerable groups to build a healthier, safer, and more united society.
A Clean-Up Exercise With Purpose
The event began with a community-wide sanitation exercise that brought together volunteers, residents, and stakeholders. Sweeping, desilting, and clearing waste around the Awoshie Station area demonstrated the foundation’s belief that environmental cleanliness is central to community well-being.
This collective effort did more than beautify the neighbourhood—it helped spark conversations about hygiene, preventive health, and shared responsibility for maintaining a clean environment. The exercise also marked the foundation’s practical approach to community empowerment: starting with action.
